Marianne Guriby Dahl Appointed as the New CEO of Hille Melbye Arkitekter

The board of Hille Melbye Arkitekter has, after a thorough process, appointed Marianne Guriby Dahl as the new CEO of Hille Melbye Arkitekter.

Hille Melbye Arkitekter is one of Norway’s oldest architecture firms and has been delivering a wide range of architectural services since 1955. Recently, the firm has won several architectural competitions and is currently involved in projects such as Sædalen Church in Bergen, the Life Sciences Building in Oslo, and the new Nadderud Stadium in Bærum.

“Marianne has extensive experience in leading skilled professionals and has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to set clear goals, engage employees, and drive profitability. We are very pleased to have her as the new leader of Hille Melbye,” says board chair Eli Sætersmoen.

Marianne Guriby Dahl joins from her role as CEO of Enerhaugen Arkitekter and has previous experience in the furniture industry as Head of Design and Development at European Furniture Group, where she was also part of the corporate management team. Prior to this, she was Head of Design at SAVO, a designer at Gabriel in Denmark, and a product developer at HÅG (now Flokk). She has also run her own design studio.

“I am passionate about promoting sustainable innovation in architecture, with solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while supporting societal development. Through holistic projects that combine high quality and economic viability, I aim to strengthen the architect’s role in an industry undergoing rapid change,” says Marianne Guriby Dahl.
