Hille Melbye Architects is the executing architect for the hall now constructed in Østre Greverud in Oppegård municipality. The new multipurpose hall has a playing area of 20x40m, with associated locker rooms designed for school classes, grandstands, gym, and lounge areas with a cafeteria.
The multipurpose hall is built adjacent to the existing artificial turf field and has external stands for matches here. It is constructed with direct foundation, steel load-bearing structure, and hollow core slabs, curved roof with lightweight elements, and outer walls of prefabricated timber frame walls with panel cladding. The floor in the hall is made of a combination elastic sports floor. The multipurpose hall is built to passive house standards.
